More information about this artwork

A great deal of Andy Warhol’s work was inspired by popular consumer products and advertising. And his Campbell’s Soup pieces, particularly Tomato Soup, are some of his most well-known. Beef consommé is a product that is somewhat complicated to make from scratch, but when mass produced by a company like Campbell’s becomes more accessible, speaking to core themes of Warhol’s work.
