This piece features a young, unmasked nude model resting with the sculptor that is featured throughout Pablo Picasso’s Vollard Suite. Created in 1933, during the most active period in Picasso’s creation of this suite, this is one of 64 etching plates Picasso made that year. The Vollard Suite is regarded as one of the most important bodies of work of the 20th century.
