Artist Information

Shay Kun is an Israeli-American artist, notable for his vibrant, fuzzy paintings that deal with memory and perception. Kun usually portrays familiar environments, such as rain droplets falling down a window car or hand carved hot air balloon toys. These settings aim to explore the idea of nostalgia and how the memory fades away, leaving behind distorted and surreal recalls. Kun’s artistic voice lies between the historical concept of fine art and the contemporary deconstruction of digital and electronic imagery.

Shay Kun is an emerging artist, attracting the interest of new buyers and collectors all over the world. His works has been exhibited worldwide, including solo shows at Linda Warren projects in Chicago, Benrimon Contemporary in New York, Bill Lowe Gallery in Atlanta, Gallery in Berlin, LaMontagne Gallery in Boston and in Tel Aviv.
