Fernando Mastrangelo is a New York-based artist mostly known for his collectible designs, large-scale sculptures and installations. His works are sculpted by hand and use an impressive array of natural materials such as sand, salt, silica, and powdered glass, linking his practice with a powerful environmental and geographical narrative. Mostly appreciated for his sizeable pale color, natural-looking sculptures and organic furniture, Mastrangelo also produces incredibly textured 2D work.
Fernando Mastrangelo has designed bespoke commissioned works and spaces for top-tier international brands such as Audemars Piguet, Stella McCartney, and Dior, and his works are residing in the permanent collections of the Brooklyn Museum and the Cooper Hewitt Museum.
