Jerkface

Graffiti and street are a ubiquitous part of daily life for anybody who lives in a major city, and most who live in smaller cities and towns as well. Jerkface, an innovative NYC-based artist, is turning street art on its head with his pop-culture inspired pieces that incorporate techniques such as cubism and blending characters we thought we knew into one another creating new, memorable versions of them. The goal of his work is to convey pure, unadulterated joy free of irony and negativity, which is why he leans on the cartoons and figures from everybody’s childhood memories, past and present. Jerkface is, to the frustration of his fans, elusive about his true identity, recently teasing followers on social media with an interview clip featuring somebody else posing as him.
