Jonas Wood is a Los Angeles based artist, highly appraised for his fresh and quasi-abstract compositions featuring portraits, still life, landscapes and interior scenes. This vivid and organic still life collage, featuring potted flowers, belongs to his famous Pots series. Each ceramic vase is depicted using simple shapes and lines, flattening the overall space of the composition to emphasize the monochromatic and elaborated landscape etchings they contain.
