Dom Pattinson is amongst Britain’s most popular urban artists of the moment. The artist draws inspiration from Russian propagandistic art, while he was living as a student in the Soviet Union, and from Northern Irish powerful political street art. Jobs For Life is an exuberant example of Pattinson’s signature aesthetics and imagery, portraying a group of kids holding a McDonald’s sign. Experimenting with printmaking and painting, he manages to create visually striking statements that are difficult to forget.
