Gerhard Richter’s work is synonymous with the word ‘blur’ and for good reason – his signature technique involves blurring objects across several media. This piece, from an edition of 500 created in 2014, is no different – while he creates a certain sense of symmetry in color and imagery throughout much of the piece, identifying individual forms and figures is nearly impossible when examining this work.
