More information about this artwork

Completed in 1990, The Blueprint Drawings portfolio was Haring’s final cohesive series of prints that brought together 17 of his most iconic drawings, and was aptly depicted in his trademark linear style that incorporated some of his most recognizable figurative symbols. Keith Haring's Blueprint drawing #6 is one of Haring's most iconic black and white works. It features stylized human figures with elongated limbs, set against a grid-like background similar to the other works from this series dating back to 1990. The overall style of the drawing is reminiscent of Haring's iconic pop art aesthetic, characterized by simple, bold lines and a focus on movement and energy. It is a prime example of Haring's iconic style which was to make art accessible to the public, and in the case of this specific drawing, the use of a blueprint background furthers that idea.
