This is a classic example of the work that Roy Lichtenstein was most well-known for. This image combines many elements of his work that were iconic – a comic-book feel, the use of attractive subjects, and of course his signature Ben-Day Dot technique. This is one of the earliest examples of the type of work he would come to be most well-known for, and is the the first realization of his evolution into the world of Pop Art.
